Frequently Asked Questions

Is the vaccine free?

The federal government is providing the vaccine free of charge to all people living in the United States, regardless of their immigration or health insurance status.

If I currently have COVID, can I still get the vaccine?

No. People with COVID-19 who have symptoms should wait to be vaccinated until they have recovered from their illness and have met the criteria for discontinuing isolation; those without symptoms should also wait until they meet the criteria before getting vaccinated. This guidance also applies to people who get COVID-19 before getting their second dose of vaccine.

Which vaccine is available?

We’re offering the Moderna vaccine at all of our locations, which requires 2 shots roughly 28 days apart. At the time of your first visit, we will schedule your second appointment.

Can my child get the vaccine?

Since the vaccine has not yet been tested in children, only people 18 years and older may receive the Moderna vaccine at this time.

Are there any side effects?

After getting vaccinated, you might have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection. Common side effects are pain, redness, and swelling in the arm where you received the shot, as well as tiredness, headache, muscle pain, chills, fever, and nausea throughout the rest of the body. These side effects could affect your ability to do daily activities, but they should go away in a few days. Learn more about what to expect after getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

I can't find an appointment online, can I call to schedule an appointment?

Please continue to check the website. New appointments become available each day, and we immediately return any canceled appointments to the website.

We prefer you schedule your appointment online to immediately reserve the most convenient time. This will also allow you to receive registration materials online to complete before your visit.

Who will be administering the vaccine?

vybe urgent care immunizers may include physicians, medical assistants, and other trained vaccine technicians. All immunizers must meet vybe’s standards and are fully trained in vaccine administration and the detection of adverse effects.

How can I find my appointment information?

We will send you reminders 48 hours and 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Your appointment confirmation email contains the most detailed background about your visit. Please look in your spam or junk folder if you can’t find this email.
