Sandy Perez-Navarro’s Healthy vybe

A chat with Sandy Perez-Navarro, vybe CMA:

Sandy Perez-Navarro, a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) here at vybe urgent care, isn’t the only one who thinks she’s pretty good at her job. We do too! It’s a field of work that is very close to her thanks to a special relationship she has with her niece. Get to know her:

Why did you decide to work in healthcare?

I decided to work in the medical field because of my niece. One day she came up to me and said that she would like to go into the medical field. I told her that she should look into it and get informed on how she can start going to school to be a medical assistant. A few days later, she called me and said she made an appointment to go see a school which was Sanford Brown Institution. She asked me if I would accompany her to this appointment. After hearing what the medical field consists of during the meeting with the school administrator, I was also intrigued and decided to go to school too! Here I am 10 years later and realized that I’m pretty good at my job – or at least I think so.
