Julie Yeh’s Healthy vybe

At vybe urgent care, we keep a board-certified physician at each of our locations at all times. Julie Yeh is one of those amazing physicians. But when she’s not on location working to improve the health of countless Philadelphians, she’s doing what the rest of us are doing – binge watching Game of Thrones!

Get to know her:

Why did you decide to work in healthcare?

I enjoy helping people in a direct patient care role.

What do you like most about working at vybe?

I appreciate that vybe is a relatively small, independent company, that is open to change within the healthcare system. I also like that vybe is committed to providing healthcare to all populations, including the medically underserved.

Favorite area of Philadelphia?

Center City – for the restaurants and theaters. My husband and I are foodies and eat out often, particularly at BYOB restaurants.

What’s on your bucket list?

International travels. I hope to get to the Galapagos, Manchu Picchu, Indian and the Canadian Transcontinental Railway (Vancouver to Toronto).

What shows do you binge watch?

The Americans and Game of Thrones.

Most helpful health tip?

Try a food diary or app, such as Lose It, to track intake to assist in weight loss or healthier diets. Ideally half of the meal plate should be vegetables (non-starchy) or fruits.

How do you find your vybe? (How do you stay healthy?)

I make sure to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night, whenever possible.
